Baert Gallery will be closed beginning May 17th as we move to our new home in Melrose Hill after a decade in the Los Angeles Arts  District.

Founded by Christian Baert in 2016, Baert Gallery reflects the dynamic contemporary landscape of Los Angeles while fostering dialogue with artists from around the world. The gallery works with a range of emerging to mid-career artists, with a focus on providing a platform for complex, intellectually rigorous, and formally challenging practices. The gallery is committed to providing studio and production support to its artists in order to foster their innovative ideas, including artist publications and regular live performances. In 2026, the gallery moved to Melrose Hill to expand opportunities for artists and broaden its community. Baert Gallery’s new location provides an ideal backdrop to present artworks across media, including installation, sculpture, painting, video, and performance.
