Founded in 2015, OCHI is a contemporary art gallery with locations in Sun Valley, Idaho and Los Angeles, California. Over the past decade in our former Arlington Heights location, OCHI presented over 100 exhibitions, offering many artists, including Ohan Breiding, Lilian Martinez, Marcel Pardo Ariza, Anna Valdez, and Hana Ward, early exhibition opportunities. Focused on holistic support, OCHI has helped facilitate career-defining milestones for these artists and others, such as institutional acquisitions, museum collaborations, and international projects. As we continue to foster a space for creative experimentation and artistic growth, OCHI works to champion emerging voices while reflecting on the gallery’s poignant history.
Since 1974, OCHI Idaho has been a site of cultural exchange between Los Angeles, California; Sun Valley, Idaho; and the world beyond. Designed and built by the Ochi family and nestled in a sweeping mountain range, our Idaho gallery offers a museum-level exhibition space to spotlight the work of both established and emerging artists.

Together, OCHI’s Melrose Hill and Sun Valley locations reflect and amplify a special kind of discourse, one that is rooted in a multi-generational belief in art’s capacity to reconfigure culture, build community, and expand horizons.
