Slow Burn presents new oil paintings by Kevin Yaun exploring the tension between sublime atmospheric landscape and the hard-edged interruptions of windows, screens, and architectural fragments. The exhibition includes a series of works in direct dialogue with the idealized light of Maxfield Parrish, grounding Yaun's investigation in a distinctly American tradition of romantic naturalism.
